ABOUT
A PIECE OF HISTORY
The Apollo's 2000 Theatre, formerly known as the Marshall Square Theatre, was designed by the renown architect Alexandre L. Levy and first opened on December 22, 1917. It opened with the screening of two silent films accompanied by a 10-piece orchestra. In 1988 the Theatre was purchased by Mr. & Mrs. Galindo and renovated for use as a private events and concert venue. The theatre was renamed Apollo's 2000. The Apollo's 2000 Theatre has withstood the test of time by having successfully adapting itself to the ever-changing needs of the community and gained recognition as a historical gem and anchor in the Marshall Square, Pilsen and Little Village community.
